Serenity House is your classic Mallacoota 60's Beach House with a beautiful view overlooking the ocean and Mallacoota lake system. You can see Gabo Island and the Howe Range from your bedroom window or while relaxing on the large balcony. This house is perfectly imperfect with a lovely mix of the old and the new, still having the feel of an old beach shack while having undergone a few recent modern upgrades, with ongoing work being done between guests. The decor has a relaxed coastal feel making your stay feel welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. There is plenty of outside room with a tranquil garden sitting area, plenty of grass for the kids to run around or for fishermen to park their boat. This property is perfect for a family getaway, fishing trip, girls weekender or couples retreat.

We are your hosts, Anna and Brett Cowen. We are excited for you to enjoy our holiday rental property in beautiful Mallacoota. We, along with our three boys lived in Serenity House for 2 years while we renovated our own home and we think that it has such a peaceful, wonderful feel with stunning views of the Mallacoota landscape. Serenity House is located in a quiet neighbourhood with Shady Gully bush reserve close by, providing the beautiful sounds of the local wildlife along with the fresh smells of the Australian bush. It is a 10-15 minute walk into the town centre via the lakeside boardwalk and is a 5 minute drive to the beach.
