Hello tiny home. This was our first tiny home experience and we nailed it. The lake view was fabulous. We were joined by a family of kangaroos for happy hour. After a 3 minute drive to the water there is a beautiful, long as you want, trail for walking or biking.

Lovely beach, and the water with beautiful views, great for...

Lovely beach, and the water with beautiful views, great for walking your dog around. Lots of caravan parks and one large one on the water front. Winter time is very quiet and lots of food places not open and many businesses had also closed down permanently from the last time I was there.

Loved the openness and all the water. Lovely walks. Very friendly people. Excellent coffee at Sundays’s, plus really friendly staff. Excellent meal at Scallywag’s, plus really friendly staff and a fabulous atmosphere .

A lovely place for a quiet getaway.

A lovely place for a quiet getaway. Lovely water views and great place for fishing. Nice bushwalking in Craojingolong National park. Wander around town and the art gallery is a must see! Very interesting artworks and friendly service.

Mallacoota was decimated by bush fires a few years ago .

Mallacoota was decimated by bush fires a few years ago . Amazing to see how well it has recovered even though the scars will remain. We visited a few beaches and as older people our favourite was Quarry Beach as there are amazing rock formations and lots of rock pools to explore..We had a very good meal at the local pub but otherwise self catered. You do need a car or bikes to get around the town.

we heard so much about Mallacoota during the bushfires we...

we heard so much about Mallacoota during the bushfires we wanted to visit to see the place for ourselves. We are not beach or fishing people and were were really passing trade as we were going from our home to an interstate activity. Dropping in to Mallacoota added a little time/distance to our trip, we felt visiting might be worthwhile. We enjoyed our time and learned a little of how the locals must have been impacted by the bushfires. The community appeared robust and thriving.

Just passing through and wanted to stop a night at Mallacoota, something different for a nights stay in a small town. Jenni was kind enough to let us know about our key before we arrived. We had no issues with our one night stay.

The property was absolutely beautiful! Beautifully styled and very comfortable for the night before our big drive home! Owner was lovely to deal with and very accomodating. Very good location, only a short drive into town. Would definitely stay again if we found ourselves in Mallacoota! 10/10 stay!

The location is very convenient to the shopping area of Mallacoota and also good for Bastion Point. The cabin was clean, the kitchen facilities (including full oven!) and cabinetry had recently been upgraded, the air-conditioning / heating was quiet and efficient.
