Let the peace and solitude wash over you while you relax in your own exclusive cabin. Located on a working farm (but not a farm stay) this is the place to enjoy wild birds, mist in the valleys and beautiful sunsets or maybe a picnic dinner all within easy reach of Lithgow, Oberon and Bathurst. Springmead offers glorious views of the Blue Mountains and glimpses of Lake Lyell. Kangaroos often visit the cabin. Please note that the cabin does have limited head height in some areas
I am passionate about farming and the environment and love my farm and surrounding area. It is just so beautiful and serene. I am incredibly lucky to live where I do and that is why I really value being able to share it with my guests. We are a working farm but not a farm stay.
Springmead is located in a farming district and is 12km from Lithgow, our nearest town. In our area we have many bushwalks and natural experiences including Secret Creek Wildlife Sanctuary. The Blue Fox restaurant in Lithgow is fabulous and there are a few wineries, a distillery and a brewery all with in an easy drive. Mayfield Gardens and the township of Oberon is not far and Bathurst is a short drive from us. There is a large creative community and several galleries. There are also both farmers markets and art markets run regularly. We overlook Lake Lyell and you can fish, boat, swim and canoe there.
