We love our property on the coast, and it is a great place to get away for the weekend or week. In summer you can walk along part of Corrigan's Beach with your dog and there is a large reserve area nearby with an enclosed playground for children of all abilities. The enclosed backyard allows for you to bring your furry friend on holidays, have a BBQ or relax reading a book on the deck. In Winter there is plenty to see and do on the coast. Nearby tourist locations include Ulladulla, Moruya, Tomakin, Mogo and Nelligen. There is an open fireplace and reverse cycle air conditioning/heating for use as needed.

The Retreat on Matthew is located in a quiet street near the Batehaven shops. Nearby is fish and chips, pizza from Heat, Batehaven Bakery, and a local IGA, Liquor Store, Chemist and Newsagency. You can leave your car at The Retreat for a stroll to any of the above mentioned places as well nearby Corrigan's Beach. Batemans Bay is a 5 minute drive from the property with a Shell Service Station on Beach Road on the way into the bay for petrol, ice and other conveniences you may require.
