Nestled amongst 14 acres on top of a hill overlooking The Goulburn Valley - The Stonehouse is a lovingly restored ex military cottage full of character and charm. Completely off-grid with solar battery power, gas cooking and water tanks you will feel completely relaxed as soon as you walk through the stone clad entrance. During the warmer months you can relax with ducted evaporative cooling throughout.
I'm a thirty something Australian who loves cooking, wine, travel, adventure, and now a new love for unwinding in the country! I have lived in Melbourne for over a decade and own a cafe in North Melbourne with another on its way. Access is contactless via keysafe. There is a second residence on the property which may be occupied during your stay (either by us or other holiday makers). They are completely private and located over 100 metres from one another, with outside areas facing different directions so privacy is ensured. The driveway, and external property (eg dam, bushland etc) are shared.
As we are located out of town, on acreage, a car is essential for your stay. Taxis are also available in Nagambie if required. Visit the local wineries, explore multiple walking tracks and adventure on Lake Nagambie.
