AustraliaLocation, fantastic! Breathtaking actually! In the morning looking over the silent lake with mist resting gently in place; the moon still visible in the clear blue sky. Picturesque! Comfortable and spacious space! Warm on a frosty morning. Great kitchen! We would highly recommend. Host was easy to contact, friendly and generous with our times.

Don't bother going to the Royal Mail Hotel ....
Don't bother going to the Royal Mail Hotel .... Its a real "dive".
The two big wineries at Tahilk and Mitchelltown are well worth a visit, You can spend a whole day at each. The wetlands cruise with Captain Bob at the helm at Tahbilk is a must do then lunch at the restaurant is also a must do.
The aboriginal art display in the basement of Mitchelltown winery id also very good and should not be missed. The wines aren't too bad either.
Dinner at the local BYO licensed Thai restaurant is not to be missed. Forget about the external appearance, the food and service is superb.

Great wineries, play grounds and the lake is fabulous.
The water jumping castle was brilliant from our youngest to our oldest of the families.
Meals at the hotel were good too.

Nagambie is a very quiet, pretty place.
Nagambie is a very quiet, pretty place. Perfect for a relaxing stay. The walking track around the lake is safe and easy to walk on. The views across the lake are lovely. The IGA had everything we needed. We stayed on a public holiday, so nothing much was open in town.

Several options of eateries.
Several options of eateries. A great IGA to provide all supermarket goods. You probably need to travel a little further afield to view more in the region as the town was quickly covered. The dam a little distance from town was worth a visit. There were lovely walking/riding tracks to utilise around the lake.

We participated in a wine blending experience at Tahbilk...
We participated in a wine blending experience at Tahbilk winery which was amazing. We had a small bite to eat at the Rowing Club which was great. We then went back to Discovery Lakes and spent a few hours in the amazing pool. We then had dinner at Zephyr’s where the food and staff were amazing!! Can’t wait to go back to Nagambie!

We have stayed at Mitchelton Hotel twice before and this time was just as enjoyable. It was out first time with a baby but the staff were lovely, the room was spacious and easily fit our Porta cot with room for play, and the pool was amazing with the weather we had. The views, the river, the restaurants, the wine, the spa. Mitchelton hotel literally has it all.
