Tindarra Resort has a lot to offer. The BBQ and firepit area was the highlight—it’s set away from the residences, so you can enjoy quality time with friends and family, whether it’s chatting, singing, or just relaxing without worrying about noise. The swimming pool and play areas are also great. I’d recommend spending a full day at the property itself—there’s plenty to do, from swimming and playing games to exploring the large grounds (even riding around if you have a buggy). The location is very convenient as well. Everything is close by, and Echuca is only about a 7–8 minute drive.

Moama/Echuca is a lovely area with plenty to do. Easy to relax & do nothing or take in all the tourist activities. Nice places to eat & visit with beautiful surroundings & plenty of wildlife, highly recommend.

It was great and alot of room around the resort and the pool...

It was great and alot of room around the resort and the pool was big and i loved everything there. I would of wanted to stay longer and do everything that was ther. Thankyou so much. And we went to the bowling club for tea and it was great to have.

Moama is a busy town on the Murray River and just over the bridge from Echuca with its Heritage wharf and paddle steamers. Really enjoyed wandering around the wharf and a trip out on the paddle steamers. Had the best Chinese meal at the Double Dragon Chinese restaurant at Moama and took a drive around the area to view the silo art.

We stayed in Moama but planned our trip around Echuca, and since they’re only 5–10 minutes apart, it worked perfectly. Moama has its own charm—a quieter, small-town vibe that’s great for relaxing. Echuca, on the other hand, feels like stepping back in time. The area around the Port of Echuca is especially unique, with historic restaurants and cafés that carry a real sense of heritage. Walking around there feels immersive, and if you lean into the experience (even dressing for the vibe), it makes it even more fun. One of the highlights is seeing the old paddle steamers still in operation—it’s fascinating if you’ve never seen steam-powered boats up close. The locals are also incredibly welcoming. We had some great conversations with people who grew up there, as well as retired couples who now enjoy the peaceful lifestyle. A must-visit is The Great Aussie Beer Shed & Heritage Farm Museum—you really shouldn’t miss it. The owner is often there himself and adds so much character to the visit. Just make sure to check opening times before you go.

We had a great weekend stay at Moama.

We had a great weekend stay at Moama. Moama is a thriving place with plenty of convenience and great places to visit. The Moama Bowling Club is huge and a great place to go, although it’s very popular, so it’s best to book ahead or you might miss out. The Moama Bakery has beautiful fresh food, with sandwiches and pasties to die for, along with very reasonable coffee. The Border Inn Hotel was probably one of the best pubs I’ve been to in a long time, courtesy bus with a friendly driver, beautiful food, excellent customer service, great live music and, most importantly, friendly and mature patrons who were all just happy and enjoying themselves. It had a fantastic vibe. If we had the opportunity to stay longer we would have as there was so much more to do. We really enjoyed the overall experience and would definitely return again. Thank you to Moama and the wonderful, friendly people who made the experience so enjoyable.

It’s really close to shops, walk to Moama Main Street, quiet, nice view from my window of bushland, pool set up Devine, free water bottles and couple nice snacks in the fridge, shower was so nice and the room was quiet large with a large couch and still ample room. Really lovely place to stay.
