Quirky, heritage cottage with spacious kitchen, formal dining and lounge. The original stone winery cottage is over 115 years old and was once part of our working winery. If you visit us during vintage (usually between February to April each year) you’ll be treated with the beautiful aromas of fermenting grapes and the sounds of a working winery in the distance. Overlooking the lush grassed common areas, the Winery Cottage offers a comfortable base to explore the Barossa. Large kitchen, living, formal and casual dining, large double shower bathroom and three bedrooms (two queen size beds, two single beds) make this the ideal accommodation for a large family or group of travellers.
The Burge family have operated Winery Cottage since 2015, it is our family owned Barossa Valley bed and breakfast. Together with a great team, the family love welcoming visitors and hope we have created a relaxing place for your stay in the Barossa Valley. The Burge family loves the Barossa region having spent several generations living and breathing the wine industry. For Grant and Helen Burge, it was a natural progression to add a tourism arm to the family business in 2015.
Tanunda is a charming town in the heart of the Barossa Valley, one of Australia’s most celebrated wine regions. Located about 75 km northeast of Adelaide in South Australia, Tanunda blends rich European heritage with relaxed country living. We are located a short 10 minute walk to the middle of the Tanunda main street.
