Next to a very quiet beach (see pictures), the apartment has a big sunny terrace with a marvelous seaview. Parking is no issue, and the "Coast Tram", which brings you from Knokke to De Panne and vice versa, has a stop in front of the building. The world famous "Domain Raversyde", containing the "Atlantikwall", the old fishing village "anno 1465" and the magnificent "Scenic Park", is of course at walking distance. Ostend is nearby, Bruges at 30 kms, and even Ypres is at only 50 kms. To visit Bruges, it is advisable to take the coast tram to the Ostend railway station, and then take the train to Bruges. Ostend also has a swimming pool, and the children will love a trip with the coast tram to Plopsaland in De Panne (20 kms). In case of bad weather, dozens of digital TV channels are available: German, British and French channels, among others.
