NEW!!! Recently renovated. The fisherman's cottage "Griad in de duinen" is located in the Haerendycke holiday park. Very quiet surroundings, very close to the sea and beach (300 m, it can't get any closer). Recreational facilities: basketball court, tennis court, petanque court. The tram stop is only 180 m away and offers direct connections to other seaside towns. Moreover, the Blankenberge marina is nearby. In short, a unique location. Staying in "Griad in de duinen" is the pure enjoyment of nature, peace, and quiet. Very child-friendly domain, ideal for families. The cottage is equipped with all comforts. Wifi, TV, dishwasher, combi-oven, induction-cooking plate, fridge-freezer, water boiler, coffee machine, grill plate, and all kitchen equipment. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin, and hairdryer. There is a separate toilet. The cottage has an enclosed garden with a terrace, garden furniture, and a BBQ. A bicycle is available (useful for the supermarket, bakery, ...). Please note: During the months of July - August, and September, the cottage can only be booked per week from Saturday afternoon (12 noon) to Friday evening (5 pm).

We are a family with 2 children. We like to enjoy life and want the best for our guests. We started renting out a chalet in the Ardennes called "Chalet Griad" in Durbuy. Where we go with heart and soul. Literally into nature. Also, the coast is pure nature. Hence 4 years later our eye fell on a fisherman's cottage. And then "Griad in de duinen" was born. The sea is an oxygen booster for us. Simply relaxing or actively sporting on the beach in iodine-rich air away from work and stress. Our house is located in a quiet area, but still close to everything, ideal for a nice walk or bike ride in the forest, to enjoy the beautiful days on the beach, ..... The elegant coastal town of Wenduine/De Haan with its typical houses in belle époque style offers you a wide range of leisure activities: subtropical swimming paradise, surfing, fishing, horse riding, 18-hole golf course, tennis, squash, football, mini-golf, cycling and walking routes, etc. This coastal town also offers a lot of cultural activities: concerts, live jazz, fireworks, folklore evenings, ..... Nearby is Blankenberge with its marina. The boats are smiling at you. How about a visit to SEA LIFE, the largest aquarium in the North Sea and the only Marine Rescue Centre on the coast? Or take a gamble at the casino? The nature reserve "Het Zwin" in Knokke? The city of Bruges (= the Venice of the North) is also worth a visit.
