Santa Cruz Cabins is a family owned and operated hospitality business rooted in the heart of the twin towns Cayo Belize. We are born Belizeans from a diverse cultural background that reflects the richness of our country. After spending several years living in the United States, we felt the deep call of home and returned to Belize drawn back by its beauty, culture, and the desire to build something meaningful rooted in our land and our people. We currently manage a small, carefully maintained collection of cabanas on our hillside property in Santa Elena, just minutes from San Ignacio in the Cayo District. By staying intentionally small, we are able to offer something that other's often cannot, personal connection, genuine care, and a true sense of home. Our journey has allowed us to experience both the Western world and the deep traditions of Belize. We carry both with us in everything we do. We believe hospitality is not just about accommodation, but about sharing stories, culture, and warmth. From our ancestors, we learned that family, storytelling, and good food bring people together. Although we feel peacefully removed from the bustle, we are only a short drive or walk from supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, shops, and essential services in Santa Elena and San Ignacio. They are familiar with the area and can take you into town, to restaurants, or directly to tour meeting points.
