Dennis and I have called Whitecroft home for the past ten years, we love it so much that we've decided to share it. Our home appeared seemingly out of thin air at a time when we were not even actively looking, everything that we had ever dreamed of, it was meant to be. With vision, hard work, trial and error, and determination, there we were opening our 'Suite Retreat'. Our property is two acres of peaceful, mountainous, natural beauty, while our home is a combination of log and conventional construction. Comfortable, rustic, somewhat eclectic design, with many unique features from decor pieces to one of a kind furniture. The Suite includes an amply equipped kitchenette as well as a barbeque that allow making simple meals easy. Your suite includes a private patio with an Arctic Hot tub, for your exclusive use. There is both a firepit and an outdoor fireplace off of your deck for your S'mores enjoyment. So much area to explore, so many lakes nearby, a beautiful waterfall just moments away...paradise!

Dennis and I left the West Coast after decades of living there in search of a more '4 season' kind of place. Kamloops was an easy choice with all of the great outdoor activities close at hand and the snow...the beautiful, beautiful snow. Dennis has long had a love of fishing and hunting, and boy does he get his fill living here. Gone are the days of guiding white water rafting and fast approaching are the days of guiding fellow fisherpeople around our beautiful area, with it's many many excellent trout fishing lakes...his retirement heaven. As for myself my greatest love has always been cooking and interior design. There's just something about nourishing people with amazing food in a warm, comfortable environment that puts a smile on my face and warmth in my soul. Dennis and I both love to explore on our quads, and have done many strenuous hikes that have lead to amazing views (he makes me carry the potatoes, no freeze dried stuff for us), and what better province than BC to do it all in? Beautiful British Columbia, Winsome Whitecroft, and Sublime Sun Peaks...win, win, win! Please note, due to allergies we are unable to host guests arriving with pets. This includes service and support dogs.

Our neighbor, Sun Peaks, is a world class ski resort with no shortage of activities to keep one entertained all year round. Skiing and snowboarding, of course, as well as dog sledding, carriage rides, trail rides, golf, snowshoeing, skating, swimming, snowmobiling, ice fishing, canoe tours, tennis, bike park, alpine blossom festival, Nordic pole walking, the summer concert series, kayak rentals (McGillivray Lake). There are many great restaurants, bistros, and pubs in Sun Peaks, with a wide variety of cuisines to suit every palate; Italian at Capone’s, Schnitzel at Powderhounds and so much more. There is an eclectic mixture of shops for purchasing souvenirs, sweets, spa treats, children's clothing/toys, etc., as well as lifes necessities i.e., liquor store, grocery store, and chocolate shop. SUP rentals and lessons are offered by Paddle Surfit at Heffley Lake, so much fun and so relaxing to glide across the water.
