We live on a private lane with only one house on either side of us. We are at a dead end when you come into our space

We became hosts when we moved to BC eight years ago. We enjoy meeting and seeing new people and have met numerous guests from Europe. We are both retired and this gives us the ability to meet new friends

Youbou is a tiny village in the interior of Vancouver Island, We have Sunfest here yearly where famous Country Acts come to Lake Town Ranch. There are also numerous other festivals that occur at Lake Town during the summer months. You need to book early if attending any of these festivals. There are numerous parks such as Arbutus Park which is about a 6 minute walk or drive you get there in 3 mins. You can swim, suntan on the dock as well as sites around the lake that are more private. Price Park as well has about 5 sites that are great for swimming. There are numerous trails in the area with Christopher Rock beiing right here on Youbou Community Lane, as well as the Old Mill to walk around and Spriing Beach on Meade Creek Road where you can walk around as well as spend time on the Lake itself. Lake Cowichan you can go Tubing in the summer as well as gete Ice Cream and Groceries at Country Grocer and Tim Hortons as well as a few restaurants.
