FUN FACTS: The Hallmark Christmas movie " A Christmas together with you" was filmed on location at Spirit Lodge in August 2021 as well as "The Recall" with Wesley Snipes in 2017. Capacious log home/Lodge nestled in 10 acres of wooded splendor on Silver Star Mountain, 10 min from Vernon… 12 minutes to Silver Star Resort. Relax on the wrap around deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while admiring the beautiful mountain , city and lake Kalamalka views. Each room has its own calibre of cozy. Spacious bedrooms with solid wood bed frames, radiant heated floors and mountain views make you feel welcome instantly. The Great Room includes a 35 ft rock fireplace surrounded by a generously sized sitting area along with a pool table area, breakfast table and completely separate TV room. Breakfast begins with fresh fruit, homemade granola, yogurt, baked goods, coffee ,tea and juice. Followed by one of several different cooked dishes ( set menu each day ) such as Eggs Benedict, Omelette ( fresh farm eggs) with homemade hash browns, French toast with breakfast sausage or bacon, homemade Belgian waffles with strawberries & whipping cream. Gluten free, Dairy free or vegetarian/vegan breakfast can also be accommodated.
Yvonne, Robert and Joe all live at Spirit Lodge. Yvonne the hostess is more than happy to answer all questions and help to ensure your stay at Spirit Lodge will be a truly enjoyable experience. There is one more member living at Spirit Lodge, Autumn, a 9 year old Golden Retriever. She is a sweet dog that loves people. As we are not a pet friendly establishment, she does not go into the guest rooms due to guest sensitivity to dog dander for future guests.
WILDLIFE ADVENTURES Silver Star mountain is home to some of B.C's most popular wildlife. Deer are not an uncommon sight as well as brown and black bears. The chipmunks are chatty and birds of all types adorn the trees and sky.
