Jesse and I love to travel, experience local cuisines, and stay with locals. We used to host travellers from all over the world in our cozy Beijing condo. In 2016, we moved to Canada and embarked on a cross-country road trip that led us to Halifax, our second home. We found this lovely waterfront cottage and renovated it ourselves, adding our personal touch and character to the space. We hope you feel at home during your stay with us in Halifax. The cottage is located on the Peggys Cove road, which is an iconic Nova Scotia scenic byway. It is a 15-minute drive to Peggys Cove Lighthouse, which is the main attraction of the area, and there are also several beautiful beaches and provincial parks nearby. A shopping area with two large supermarkets where you can purchase groceries and local gift shop is just a 5-minute drive. Additionally, The B.L.T. Rails to Trails, one of Halifax’s top trail destinations is only a 2-minute drive.
