The hosts, Nadia and Sergio, are a young couple who love to travel, together they have visited more than 40 countries around the world. Both have been living together in Mergoscia since 2020, the village where Nadia grew up while Sergio is from Brazil. The two met in Indonesia when Nadia was traveling and when Sergio was living and studying in Australia. After three years of long-distance relationship, love and passion for travel, Nadia and Sergio made it possible to fulfill their dream in Mergoscia; to welcome guests from all over the world and in their own way, as they have appreciated on their travels; spontaneous, authentic, sustainable and sensitive to local tradition. Nadia and Sergio know lots of tips and suggestions for excursions and activities in and around Mergoscia. The ideal vacation home for guests seeking nature, culture, variety, peace, or sports activities. The house is accessible from the road via a 3-minute public footpath and has a private parking space (on the same street). Additional public parking is available for another car. LIVING ROOM / KITCHEN (55m²) The newly built house is two stories. On the first floor, you'll find the living room with a wood stove and the open kitchen. Here, you can enjoy a unique 180° panoramic view while cooking, dining, or relaxing on the sofa. LAKE ROOM (20m²) and MOUNTAIN ROOM (20m²) On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms, each receiving either morning or evening sunlight. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed (two single mattresses, 2x 90 x 200 cm), and the other with a double bed (double mattress, 180x200 cm). Both rooms have their own private bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, as well as soundproof windows and doors. Both rooms are equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning. GARDEN ROOM (12m²) The bedroom with air conditioning and a 140x200 cm bed offers a view of the Brissago Islands and direct access to the garden seating area. Next to the bedroom, there is a toilet with a sink. All mattresses and pillows are lined with an OEKO-TEX® STANDARD-certified, hypoallergenic, breathable, and antibacterial fabric. KITCHEN The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with an integrated freezer, oven, electric cooktops, kettle, toaster, raclette machine, fondue pot, and a Jura coffee machine. BATHROOM The bathrooms are fully equipped with towels, a hairdryer, soap, and shampoo. All products, including dishwashing liquid and cleaning supplies, are natural and sustainable.
