In the quiet residential neighborhood of Gentilino, in Collina D'oro, CASA BROCCHI will amaze you with its unique style, its essential lines, the exposed stone the carefully chosen furnishings, all designed to make this design house the ideal place for your vacation in Ticino. The house is arranged on three levels. On the ground floor, there is the large open-plan living room, consisting of a relaxation area, with a sofa and armchair for reading and chatting with friends, and a dining area with a table for 4 people, opposite the modern kitchen, complete with everything you need to prepare and serve meals as at home. The living room overlooks the garden, with a patio furnished with a table for outdoor dining and a green lawn. Going up the first staircase leads to the 1st floor, where there is the large master bedroom with a chest of drawers for storing one's wardrobe, and the modern bathroom with shower. Going up the staircase again leads to the 2nd floor, with another large room, furnished with a sofa and TV cabinet for watching a movie and relaxing, and a desk suitable for studying and working; the sofa becomes a double bed for the night (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared, we think it is proper to use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the closet/shelf most adjacent to the sofa.). There is also a service bathroom here. A towel set is included for each person, together with bed sheets and blankets; we also give you a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessary for a breakfast.

Collina d'Oro is a green and scenic area of Lugano. Its hamlet Montagnola is best known because the Germanic writer Hermann Hesse lived here for half his life. For lovers of literature and history, the municipality of Montagnola has set up an educational re-enactment trail, with eleven stations, that leads the visitor, through the houses where Hesse lived and the significant places of his life. The city center can be reached in only 15 minutes by car. How to get there: By car, from the A2 highway, take the Lugano Sud exit and set your GPS: in 5 minutes you will reach the apartment. By train, from Lugano station, take the train towards Ponte Tresa (S60) for 3 stops and get off at "Cappella-Aguzzo" stop. Walk for about 10 minutes to reach the apartment.
