Enjoy a vine-covered porch with lavender, a dining area for 4, living room with sofa bed, equipped kitchenette, and a comfortable bedroom—perfect base to explore Lake Maggiore and Ticino. Inside, the open-plan living area features a dining table for four, a comfortable sofa bed for two, and a fully equipped kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker—ideal for longer stays. The separate bedroom includes a 160x200 cm bed and a compact wardrobe, offering restful comfort after exploring Ticino and nearby Italy. The bathroom has a practical walk-in shower. Enjoy breakfasts or evening drinks at the outdoor table surrounded by mountain scenery. Upon request, guests can use the washing machine and dryer for added convenience during longer visits. Although the apartment is located below an additional unit where the owners occasionally stay for holidays, the holiday home remains private and independent. You have your own entrance and exclusive use of all ground-floor spaces, ensuring total privacy throughout your stay. Please note: Guests only have access to the ground floor. The upstairs terrace belongs to the private owners and is not accessible. 🛑 For safety reasons, charging electric vehicles, e-bikes, scooters, or any device requiring special charging equipment (EV chargers) is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. Aside from the stunning botanical park on the Brissago Islands, there are ample opportunities for swimming, sailing, and surfing. Scenic walks along the lake are easily accessible via public or private transport. If you’re more drawn to the mountains, Brissago won’t disappoint. You can hike up to Mt. Ghiridone (2,190 meters), where panoramic views of the lake await. Alternatively, trails lead to Capanna al Legn, a charming alpine refuge. Brissago also boasts architectural and historical gems, like the Renaissance churches of Sts. Peter and Paul and Madonna di Ponte. Modern architecture lovers will appreciate the work of Livio Vacchini and Luigi Snozzi, who restored Casa Baccalà and Casa Bianchini, respectively. Brissago offers excellent beaches, including the municipal lido near Madonna di Ponte Church. Sailing enthusiasts can visit the Yacht Club, while Marenca Surf provides surf lessons.
