Casa QUATTRO FIUMI is located in Tegna, in the Terre di Pedemonte region, at the confluence of the rivers Maggia and Melezza – about 6 km from Piazza Grande in Locarno and just a few minutes’ drive from the lakeside town of Ascona with its promenade on Lago Maggiore. The Patriziale Ascona Golf Club is 7.1 km away. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, and check-in is easy and contactless via a key box and a keyless access chip. A garage space is available on request for selected apartments; alternatively, there are two outdoor parking spaces. The air-conditioned units each feature a seating area, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a dishwasher and an oven. Some units also have a terrace with garden access. Tegna is a typical Ticino village with stone houses, narrow lanes, vineyards and a charming parish church. In the surrounding area the rivers invite you to swim in summer, and there are plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Ascona and Locarno, with their lakeside promenades, boutiques and restaurants on Lago Maggiore, are just a few minutes’ drive away; boat trips, bathing spots and the Cardada cable car are all close by. Guests can reach Lugano by car in around 45 minutes, and Morcote – voted “Switzerland’s most beautiful village” – in just under an hour. The Centovalli Railway station is located right in Tegna; Lugano-Agno Airport is about 45 minutes away and Milan-Malpensa around 1.5 hours. A car is recommended for day trips.
