Enjoy a break in our lovingly renovated historic half-timbered house in a rural setting near the picturesque Lake Constance and the unique Rhine Falls. Experience the charm and authenticity in a Swiss farming village, without sacrificing modern comfort. In the spirit of "Happy Cow", we have foregone real leather or fur in our modern chalet-style furnishings.

We are two free spirits who love to travel a lot, both professionally and privately. We live where others vacation, and when we are away, we are happy if you feel comfortable in our Chalet Happy Cow and enjoy a wonderful time.
The Idyllic Border Village of Ramsen
Ramsen is located in Switzerland and has its own small border crossing (Ramsen/Rielasingen) to Germany.
Right outside your doorstep: Explore the numerous biking and hiking trails and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Swiss nature. A paradise for cycling enthusiasts and nature lovers.
For golf fans, there are two golf courses, which can be reached by car in just 20 minutes. Also just a short drive away are the impressive Rhine Falls and the picturesque Lake Constance. Perfect for day trips and unforgettable experiences.
The next major Swiss ski area, Chäserugg in Thurgau, can be reached in 1 hour and 40 minutes. The smaller German Feldberg in the beautiful Black Forest is just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Ramsen. There you can also enjoy wonderful skiing in the winter.
Cultural highlights: Visit the renowned Zurich Opera House or the city theater in Schaffhausen. Experience unforgettable evenings full of culture and entertainment.
