La Finestra sul Lago is a unique 1970s lake-view retreat overlooking Lago Maggiore and the Brissago Islands. Surrounded by palm trees, mountains, and nature, this charming vintage home combines authentic cabin vibes with breathtaking panoramic views and peaceful Ticino atmosphere. The property offers private outdoor parking, a panoramic outdoor swimming pool, garden terraces, outdoor dining areas, and a ping pong area. Almost every room enjoys spectacular lake and mountain views. Please note: the house is accessed via approximately 100 stairs from the parking area. There is no elevator, and the property is not suitable for strollers or guests with reduced mobility. On the entrance floor, guests will find two cozy bedrooms, both with 140 x 200 cm beds, storage space, and a warm cabin-style atmosphere. A bathroom with shower, sink, and WC is located at the end of the hallway. The indoor pool area is part of the property, but only the outdoor pool is available for guest use. Upstairs, the bright living room features floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows overlooking the lake, a dining area, and an original fireplace that is currently not in use. The fully renovated kitchen is equipped with coffee machine, stove, dishwasher, and all essentials needed for cooking. A dedicated workspace with stunning lake views makes the house ideal for remote work or quiet moments. The spacious master bedroom features a 160 x 200 cm bed, generous storage, and incredible views over Lago Maggiore. From the living room, guests can access the porch, garden, and outdoor dining area. Additional stairs lead to the pool and lounging areas, surrounded by palms and unforgettable scenery. La Finestra sul Lago is perfect for families, couples, nature lovers, and travelers seeking an authentic and relaxing Ticino escape. The use of the swimming pool is entirely at the guests’ own responsibility. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, both in the pool area and throughout the property.

Please also use the balconies, terraces, stairs, and railings with care, especially when traveling with children. Due to the nature of the property and its elevated outdoor areas, constant supervision of minors is essential.

We kindly ask guests to treat the house with care and respect. In the event of accidental damage or breakage, guests are required to inform us immediately so that we can address the situation as quickly as possible. Damaged or missing items may be charged accordingly.

There is an outdoor parking space located below the property. Please note that access FROM the parking area TO THE house requires using approximately 50 stairs.
