The traditional Swiss chalet from the 19th century has been generously and tastefully renovated and impresses with its high-quality and elegant furnishings. Enjoy the flair of a typical mountain chalet combined with the comfort and numerous amenities of a modern holiday home. The chalet is surrounded by a 400 m² property with a private and walled garden. The open-plan living and dining area with sofa and armchairs is located on the ground floor. After an active day in the mountains, it's the perfect place to relax by the brightly blazing open fire as well as to access the ground floor balcony. The modern kitchen with granite counter tops is fully equipped, including an induction hob, built-in microwave and oven, and Nespresso coffee machine (with a supply of capsules included). The dining table seats 4 people comfortably. The entrance area has a wardrobe with seating area and space for your ski equipment. The upper floor provides two bedrooms, each with a double bed (160 x 200 cm), its own flat-screen TV and adjoining bathrooms. One room also has access to the first-floor balcony. The chalet has a private garage for one car.

We are a family living in Zurich who fell in love with the mountains, the fresh air, and the peaceful rhythm of nature. When we discovered this chalet in Davos, it immediately felt like a rare find – a warm, welcoming place tucked away in one of the most beautiful parts of Switzerland. This house is our retreat from busy city life. We come here to slow down and to hike and ski. We’ve decided to open our chalet to guests when we’re not using it – not just to share this special place, but also because we believe homes should be lived in and enjoyed. The centre of Davos, the vibrant and popular “City of the Alps”, is just a short stroll away, with shops, cafés, bakeries, restaurants, bars, a casino, clubs, and ski and mountain-bike rental outlets. A supermarket and the nearest bus stop are both within easy walking distance. Chalet Silverbirch sits at an altitude of 1,560 metres, with the ski area reaching up to 2,844 metres. The nearby Parsenn ski area is the largest of the five interconnected Davos Klosters Mountains ski zones, offering around 96 km of slopes and 18 lifts. It includes the region’s longest run – a thrilling 12-kilometre descent from Weissfluh summit to Küblis. From there, the scenic Rhaetian Railway brings you back to Davos. The Parsenn lift system is easily accessible from the chalet, as are ski schools and a gentle beginner’s slope (Bunda ski hill), ideal for younger children. In total, the Davos Klosters Mountains offer over 250 km of slopes, 81 runs, and 44 lifts, including areas such as Jakobshorn, Pischa, Rinerhorn, Schatzalp, and Klosters-Madrisa. There is also a toboggan run from Schatzalp to Davos Platz, an indoor skating rink, and an indoor pool. Cross-country ski lovers will find a large, beautifully maintained trail network with over 100 km of classic and skating tracks — the nearest access point is just steps from the chalet. Chalet Silverbirch is the perfect base for those seeking both adventure and peace. Surrounded by a large garden with several outdoor seating areas, the chalet opens onto an extensive network of hiking and mountain-biking trails that wind through the surrounding valleys. An 18-hole alpine golf course is nearby, and Lake Davos, with its beach club, volleyball, swimming, sailing, SUP-boarding, and café, can be reached on foot.
