With experience both in real estate (Livio) and hospitality (Carolina), we became very excited with the idea of building the best vacation home service in the region, Nostrana Holiday Homes. Our goal is to craft apartments with distinctive decor. We aim for our guests to reminisce about their vacation even after a decade, recalling the unique details of their stay in Locarno and not forgetting the special care we provided them. Our life philosophy revolves around approaching everything with love, and dedication, and offering our best while nurturing those around us. Raising three wonderful children has reinforced these values for us, inspiring us to incorporate them into every aspect of our lives, personally and professionally.

Private rooms in a historic villa in Muralto, ideal for guests who appreciate charm, character, and a lived-in atmosphere. Just minutes from Lake Maggiore and the center of Locarno, the property offers a quiet and authentic retreat in a peaceful residential area, close to restaurants, cafés, and public transport. Free parking is available (one outdoor space, one indoor upon request). The location is convenient: about 20 minutes on foot to Locarno city center, 10 minutes to the train station, and 10 minutes to the lake. Access the villa through an antique gate leading into a serene 1500 m² garden filled with flowers, trees, and Mediterranean charm. The villa features three private guest rooms. Camera Esther (17 m² + balcony) is a bright double room with a 140 x 200 cm bed, built-in wardrobe, partial lake view, and a small private balcony. Camera Emilia (20 m²) offers a more spacious double room with a 160 x 200 cm bed. Chambre Vert has two single beds (90 x 200 cm each), ideal for friends or solo travelers. All other spaces are shared. On the ground floor: entrance hall, guest WC, a cozy library/living room (decorative fireplace), dining area for up to six guests, and a fully equipped kitchen with Nescafé Dolce Gusto machine and dishwasher. The garden offers a covered porch and outdoor dining areas, creating a peaceful green oasis. Bathrooms are shared: one bathroom with shower, bidet, and sink; one separate WC next to it; and one guest WC on the ground floor. Important: there is only one shower in the house. Guests also enjoy a workspace, shared facilities, and a large panoramic terrace with full southern exposure—perfect for relaxing or sunset aperitivo.
