The lodge is located in La Ballena, a quiet and picturesque coastal village that stands out for its untouched nature, peaceful atmosphere, and spectacular views of the open Pacific Ocean. It is the perfect refuge for those looking to escape crowded beach towns and connect with authentic coastal life. What guests love most about the area: Local Tradition & Culture: Just a few steps from the lodge, you can witness the work of local seaweed harvesters (algueros) and their traditional wooden structures used for drying cochayuyo (bull kelp)—a beautiful, ancestral trade that gives this neighborhood a unique identity. Strategic Location: We are ideally located in a perfect middle point. A 15-to-20-minute drive south brings you to Los Molles, famous for its seafood gastronomy and the incredible trail of Puquén Park (where you can see the "Puyero," a natural marine blowhole). Heading north at a similar distance is Pichidangui, ideal for enjoying a calm-water beach, boat rides, and water sports such as windsurfing. Gastronomy & Connectivity: The area features small, local seafood spots (picadas), and we are located very close to Route 5 North. This allows easy access for a day-trip to the famous local pastry shops of La Ligua and its traditional woven textiles.
