If you are looking for a stylish and comfortable place to put down your bag in Guatapé, you’ve found it! Located a block from the main square and 2 blocks from the bus terminal, we offer lake-facing accommodation. We have three apartments available sleeping 2, 4 or 6 guests. Each apartment offers a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you may need for a short or long stay, including basic cooking condiments. Every bedroom also comes with its own bathroom. Facilities: - Self check-in via electronic locks - 24 hours - Free WIFI - Washer and Dryer - Bathroom amenities Please note that the apartments are located on the second and third levels of the building. Access is by stairs only.

We are your hosts, Valery and Javier. Casa Dodo is our home and also where we welcome you, our guest. The name comes from 1) the native extinct bird of Mauritius, and 2) from “dodo”, a short form of the French verb “dormir” which means to sleep. We have 3 apartments in the building, sleeping 2, 4 and 6 guests. We bought the building in 2017 and started renovations a year later. We welcomed our first guests in December 2019. Our aim is to offer tasteful but functional lodging where you can relax while enjoying the village we love. We thrive to offer hotel comfort with the additional space and amenities a home provides.

Guatapé has sights and activities for all ages. Of course, the big rock - El Peñón de Guatapé - is probably the main attraction. A fairly easy climb of 700+ steps to the top will offer you breath-taking views of the lake and mountains surrounding the village. The village itself, while small, is colourful and fun to explore. You can admire its trademark zocalos. Being lake-front, Guatapé offers a wide variety of water-based activities such as kayaking, waterski, jetski, sailing and boat rides to name a few. Hiking and mountain-biking enthusiasts will not be disappointed with its various trails just outside the village. Kids and adults likewise will enjoy a day at the Comfama Recreational Park which offers a variety of water and land-based activities.
