Casas Jaguar is conveniently located between the center of town and some of the most popular attractions in the area such as Canopy Zip Lining, Suspended Bridges, waterfalls and the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Preserve. Inspired by Nordic architecture, Jaguar is composed of 3 independent homes, elevated on pillars, giving you the impression of floating on the trees. We are not a hotel, which means we do not have a reception on site, guest will self check in.
We are Jerome and Vera, your hosts at Jaguar Houses. We hope that you will enjoy your time in the cloud forest and leave in love with this place as much as we are. We have made a list of our favorite eating spots and local convenience stores/markets. We also included nearby activities and our top picks for experiences in Monteverde. We hope they will be of help during your visit.
It is a residential area, we are located half way between the zip lining companies and town. You do not really have anything walking distance, but it is a very short drive (5min). Monteverde isn/t very pedestrian friendly because roads are uo and down, also there are not much of side walks, so we recommend driving or taking a cab when you go out.
