The restaurant provides a cozy relaxed atmosphere where large and small parties can enjoy patio seating or private booths inside our dining room. The unique menu of International Fusion flavors created by chef Eyal Ben-Menachem makes for an experience to remember. Every week showcases a variety of "made to order" entrees changed daily with the availability of hand selected fresh local beef and pork. For seafare fresh Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Sea Bass, Jumbo Shrimp, Calamari, and the occasional Octopus are delivered to the Gingerbread the day they are caught. Freshness is the key to preparation! But don't forget the sweets! All of the desserts are homemade with love, ranging from flavors of rich dark chocolate to fresh fruit concoctions bursting with ripeness. The bar is for those looking to refresh with a cool drink, pull up a chair barside or sit back on our lounging couches and enjoy the latest sports, news, and movies via satellite TV. The selection of beers ranges from national Costa Rican varieties to imports from Belgium and Denmark.

We are located 45 minutes from La Fortuna and the Volcan Arenal, other attractions in the La Fortuna area are hot springs, hikes, rafting, horseback riding, etc. We are lakeside and have wonderful views of Lago Arenal. Local friends of ours do tours for kayaking or fishing on the lake.
