Nuakú Jungle sits in the mountains of San Carlos. The towns of Aguas Zarcas and Ciudad Quesada are just 10 and 20 minutes away, offering restaurants, shops, and everyday essentials. From there, the region opens up: whitewater rafting in Sarapiquí (40 min), the viewpoints of Laguna de Hule and San Vicente (45 min), the waterfalls of Bajos del Toro (1 hr), and the Arenal Volcano area, with its hot springs and adventure activities (under 1 hr). Poás Volcano National Park is about 90 minutes away. But what makes Nuakú different is what you come back to at the end of the day: a private place of forest and mist, where hot springs, exclusive trails, and unhurried stillness make the outside world feel very far away, in the best way.
