The villas are within Villas Roma del Mar, a private guarded residential community with privately owned villas for rent by owner (not all of the properties). The development has currently 26 Villas and 6 duplexes, a beachfront restaurant and a small supermarket. The developers are from Germany and live on site. Wildlife and natural vegetation abound in this community, but its beaches and access to the water makes it so special. Set on a hillside with unparalleled ocean views against an emerald rainforest backdrop, the Roma del Mar residences are the premier properties at the Gulf of Nicoya. Spread over 200 acres along the coast, Roma del Mar is a peaceful haven on Costa Rica’s beautiful Guanacaste Peninsula. It is a microcosm of the country’s natural wonders and shows that nature and development work together in perfect harmony.

Roma del Mar is located on the Peninsula de Nicoya, Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, only 10 minutes from nearby Playa Naranjo (Puntarenas) with its ferry serving transportation services to Puntarenas, an one-hour scenic trip by boat. It is an easy 2 hours drive from the next international airport in Liberia, which is a connecting hub of many large US cities such as Houston and Dallas. Villas Roma del Mar has a beachfront restaurant: 'Aroma Del Mar'. It offers a delicious menu and a beautiful atmosphere perfect for breakfast to start your day right or dinner at sundown! Guests will have full access to all the villas top notch amenities including our properties onsite massage therapist, who will come to your private villa and pamper you while overlooking the beautiful views of the ocean. Close to local restaurants and a short walk to the on site grocery store and only a few minutes' walk to the beach, the property provides a real "getaway" feel, with its unique garden setting and visiting monkeys.
