A lot of nice restaurants and take away outlets are within walking distance. The best sushi place in town is just next door. The sashimi mixed salad is a triumph and if you like this kind of food, then you must have it! A family owned yet large in size supermarket with very reasonable pricing is just a 3-minute walk away. The russian cultural centre is 150 to 200 meters away. A lot of theatrical plays and concerts take place here. There are also two well known gyms in the neighborhood (within a 3 and a 5 minute walking distance each), which apart from monthly memberships allow guest access on a daily basis. Getting around Several bus stops are within 2 to 5 minutes walking distance. Nevertheless, all major city attractions and the busy Ledra street are also within walking distance, so most probably you will not be needing the bus. The KAPNOS Nicosia airport shuttle terminal (which connects the city to Larnaca International Airport) is a 5 minutes drive and those who do not mind walking a bit longer can cover the distance in 20 to 25 minutes.
