This beautiful village home was allegedly built in 1848 and was undoubtedly fully renovated in 2021 to provide the latest in modern comforts while respecting the traditional architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage site. This 3-bedroom house can comfortably accommodate 4 adults and a baby. The baby bedroom is equipped with a crib and a changing table. Amenities include: wi-fi, a smart TV with Netflix, air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout, 1 full bathroom with a bathtub, a cozy fireplace and a workspace. This rental features a fully-equipped kitchen with the following amenities: refrigerator, full oven, stove, microwave, espresso coffee maker, frappe/fredo drink mixer, dishwasher, toaster grill. Our beautiful courtyard is shaded by an old walnut tree offering a unique outdoor dining experience with the ambiance of village life (feel free to pick and enjoy the walnuts, when in season!) We welcome digital nomads who are looking for longer stays. The owners themselves are digital nomads and worked from this beautiful home for several years. The internet is more than adequate for video-conferencing meetings. This property is approximately 90 square meters (968 square feet). Please note that the outside bathroom, the laundry machine, barbeque and courtyard are shared with another property. The closest parking lot (first-come, first-serve and free) is approximately 70 meters away and there are a few steps in-between (less than 10).

Strolling through the village is the best way to enjoy it. You can drive through the village with your motorcycle or car. Trucks are not allowed as the streets are narrow. Lofou is a picturesque, quiet, traditional village. Thanks to its traditional architecture and character it has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site. In terms of amenities, it offers 3 restaurants, a mini-market, a traditional bakery, a craft beer brewery, a couple of small souvenir shops. The restaurant and bakery also serve coffee/breakfast typically. It is extremely safe. The village center with most of the aforementioned amenities is 3 minutes away on foot from our house.
