Everything - by the way, this is the 1st time when the photos do not correspond to the reality - it was better. The place has a special atmosphere you can feel only life. You have all you need for your stay, including small kitchen with salt and pepper, coffee, tea, sugar, appliances etc. Plus a hairdryer, AC but also a second heater. You also have a small courtyard in front where you coffee Lots of cats around:) The village is charming

This is a very cozy traditional house in a nice not-so-touristy little village. The house is pretty large, has 4 queen beds so you can come in large groups (2 of them are on the upper floor where there is no conditioning so might be hot in the summer). Stone walls are nice, i think it is lime stone with cream/yellowy color, very nice on the eyes, sleeping in the bedroom with stone walls was an experience. Fully equiped kitchen with basic amenities, very cozy stone inner yard, vintage furniture, has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The village itself is nice and the house is conveniently situated, so you can have a nice walk from the church to the local entertainment street with shops and a nice taverna.

Really beautiful rustic village with really friendly locals.

Really beautiful rustic village with really friendly locals. There is very little in the way of shops/restaurants etc. There is only one independent tavern and a few linked with hotels, a bar, a cafe, coffee shop, bakery/mini mart. However, there’s the local brewery and olive oil mill you can walk to as well as trails nearby. It’s also good distance for driving into the mountains.

I loved the village and I met couple of interesting people...

I loved the village and I met couple of interesting people who were friendly and explained to me lots of things about the village, its architecture and the beautiful old church! The taverna next to Oinoessa was very warm and welcoming and the owners very friendly . We had dinner and lunch there and the food was plentiful and delicious. We had a nice long walk around the village , was very clean and nicely looked after by the local people. Definitely a place I would like to visit again but the only activity I saw for people is visiting the villages in the area!!!!!!

It was very good to discover a small medieval town away from...

It was very good to discover a small medieval town away from mass tourists who are only there to sunbathe. We were interested in learning the history of Cyprus, Lofou offered other aspects of Cyprus other than the sea, swim and sun. We were sorry to miss Joseph the manager when we left., he was most friendly and helpful in every way. Thank you Joseph!

So amazing to still be able to find genuinely authentic...

So amazing to still be able to find genuinely authentic remote villages without them being so commercialised. I felt like I had travelled to a completely different world. With the cobbled streets and blue doors and the church bell ringing and distant songs being sung by locals in cafes.

Lofou is a very small town with only 2 restaurants and a couple of small shops. It’s very picturesque, quaint and beautiful. It’s perfect for passing through for a maximum of a week. Surrounded by nature and being up in the mountains gives you the sweet getaway many travelers are looking for.

Lofou is a nice little town with its own brewery with a friendly owner, a small museum, beautiful traditional houses and wonderful natural views and friendly locals. Would definitely recommend a visit to those who want to enjoy peace outside the city and feel the charm of a small town

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is very cozy and beautifully arranged — you can feel that everything was made with love and attention to detail. It’s located in the charming mountain village Lofou, which is such a lovely and peaceful place to visit. In real life, the place looks even better than in the photos! Parking is close by, which was also very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable accommodation. Really kind service. Highly recommended stay for a visit to the village and area. There is a tavern (Lofou Tavern) quite near with nice dishes and their own grapefruit sweet wine and juice. Super.
