Kapparis is a popular coastal Village located between the cosmopolitan resort of Protaras and the town of Paralimni, and is a purely residential area. Kapparis has gradually developed in recent years from a sleepy farming area and now boasts an array of restaurants, sandy beaches and all year round tourist facilities. There beaches all have clear blue water perfect for swimming, sunbathing, fishing and water sports. Kapparis is also located close to the border of Northern Cyprus, just 5 km from the once thriving coastal resort of Famagusta and its famous white sandy beaches. With talks of a reunification between both sides currently taking place, a fair solution for the Greek Cypriot side could result in the return and re-building of the city, bringing great commercial and economic benefits to the area.
