I have been regularly visiting Protaras and Ayia Napa for the past 20+ years , so i know the city inside and out. I’m happy to help you with your travels and advise you of great things to see. I love the beach, playing tennis, swimming, eating out and drinking at all the great restaurants in Protaras. Everything you might think of (eg beaches, cafes, bar, restaurants, supermarkets, bank, car rental service etc) is within walking distance. The neighbourhood of Vitamin Sea Protaras is without a doubt one of the best areas in the city to spend your holidays at. Although shops, restaurants, bars and cafes are only a five-minute drive and/or ten-minute walk away, the area is completely secluded and peaceful. Take an early morning stroll and enjoy the amazing nearby beaches (eg Yianna Marie, Fig Tree Bay). Wander around the amazing streets of Protaras while the city sleeps, then head back for a morning coffee at this urban-chic studio with an amazing view of the famous landmark of the area, the chapel of Prophet Elias which is built on a rocky outcrop exactly opposite your apartment. Explore the amazing Sea Caves of Cape Greco and visit the Cape Greco National Forest Park which is a fifteen-minute drive away from Vitamin Sea Protaras. In case you have kids, it would be perfect for you to visit and spend a day at WaterWorld Themed Waterpark Ayia Napa. Star Leisure Mini Golf (three-minute walk away from Vitamin Sea Protaras) is also a place to visit and have some fun with your kids. Don' t forget to grab a hot sandwich form Profitis Elias Kiosk (the best sandwich in town), which is a 2-minute walk from the apartment.
