The best reason to choose a farm holiday with us is the unique location, with picturesque rural surroundings, and peace and quiet far away from the urban bustle. Every morning you are greeted by the hairy Angus herd, many wild animals, chirping birds, lush green meadows and fresh air – a blessing for body and soul. In addition, the ‘Krusenhoff’ of the Bokeloh family is a great opportunity to get acquainted with all sorts of friendly farm animals. Go on a meet-and-greet in the barn with the cows, calves, pigs, ponies, rabbits, chickens and cats. If you would like to participate in the farm activities, you are welcome to help to feed the animals. We also offer a safe playground for children, with many attractions such as making bread on a stick by the campfire, free pony rides and much more. Here, you are in the middle of the unique North German moor and heath landscape: the Verdenermoor, where the scents of blooming flowers, meadows and fir tree needles fill the air. You can find many recreational options in the surrounding area.

Today, the Bokeloh family from Verdenermoor consists of father Dieter, mother Magdalene, son Christoph and daughter-in-law Janina. The farm was established in 1794. It was restructured from classical dairy farming in 1992, and the activity now includes renting of holiday apartments and houses. Christoph has also lovingly built up an Angus herd since 2005. The Angus cows live mainly on the lush moorland meadows directly behind the farm. Only when the cows calve in spring, they stay in the barn for two to three months. Christoph has taken over the farm since September 2019 and is the contact person for any questions and requests. Dieter and Christoph make sure that any visiting children can keep busy and romp around on the farm and the outdoor area. Janina will happily arrange for a ride and grooming session with the ponies. Magdalene keeps the garden tidy and is also happy to make the dough for the bread on the stick around the campfire.
