I am an active 75-year-old American, married to a German. We split our time between our US home in Maryland and our apartment on the top floor of the Allgäuer Appartementhaus. I'm passionate about traveling and am an avid photographer. I try to get in my 10,000 steps a day and love training with kettlebells. My husband, Lothar Schuettler, is a renowned collector and restorer of vintage BMWs.

The Allgäuer Appartementhaus is on a sunny southwest-facing slope over-looking the mountains and the charming town of Pfronten with its landmark St Nikolaus Church. It is in a quiet corner but within walking distance of about anything you might want in town.

The Allgäuer Appartementhaus is in a quiet residential neighborhood but only minutes by foot to restaurants, cafes, beer gardens, and ice cream emporiums; grocery, sport equipment, clothing, and gift stores; walking, biking and X-country ski trails; and a cable-car to get up the mountain for hiking, parasailing, mountain biking, alpine skiing, and so much more. It is mere minutes by car to Neuschwanstein castle.
