Step outside into our expansive 1000 m² garden, shared with us, your hosts. The outdoor space features: Lush green lawn perfect for play, picnics, or lounging; fruit trees that bring seasonal charm; ample room for children to play safely, explore, or simply enjoy nature; quiet corners for reading, yoga, or sunset watching. Whether you’re playing with your children or sipping a glass of wine under a tree, the garden is a true highlight of your stay. Please note that there is a busy road and a train track towards the back of the house and it can be somewhat loud when the windows are open. The apartment is equipped with modern, triple glazed windows for sound proofing and insulation for your comfort.
We are a young family with a curious and cheerful 4-year-old, and we’re happy to welcome guests into our home! We love cooking, spending time outdoors, and working on DIY projects to make our space even more comfortable, personal, and connected to nature. You’ll notice the little DIY touches throughout the house and garden. Our goal is to create a warm and relaxed environment both for ourselves and our guests. We’re nearby and happy to help if needed, but we also respect your privacy and space. We look forward to making your stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible!
Our home is in a green residential area that blends nature and convenience. Just a short walk or bike ride away, you’ll find shops, cafés, and local markets. Public transport is excellent – a nearby train station and bus stops connect you easily to Heidelberg, nearby towns, and local attractions. Heidelberg’s old town, castle, and museums are just a short trip away – ideal for day trips. The nearby riverbank offers lovely cafés, bars, and restaurants for relaxing with a view. The area is cycling-friendly, with bike paths and scenic routes to explore. There are several playgrounds and green spaces perfect for kids and families. The neighborhood is safe, though not always quiet due to a nearby road and train line. Whether you enjoy nature, culture, or riverside relaxation – it’s all close by.
