At the Church of Light and Blessing in Schmallenberg-Gleidorf, pilgrims will find a truly unique and simple place to stay for an extraordinary overnight experience. Your sleeping area is set within a former confessional and offers two single beds. The intentionally minimal furnishings invite you to leave everyday life behind, find peace, and focus on what truly matters. For meals, you can use the communal kitchen in the adjacent parish hall, equipped with an oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. The sanitary facilities are basic: in the parish hall, you will find a toilet and a washbasin for freshening up—please note there is no shower. Access to the church and parish hall is easy via a key box. After booking, you will receive a code for the key box. Since the parish hall is used by a kindergarten in the mornings, you must check out by 8:00 a.m. on the day of departure. As the accommodation is located within a sacred space, we kindly ask you to behave respectfully and show due appreciation for your surroundings. Especially in the evenings and early mornings, please maintain a quiet atmosphere to preserve the special silence of the church. Please note: The Her(r)bergskirche can only be booked for one night.
