Welcome to Homebase Vacation eG – your temporary home! It all started a few years ago in Winterberg, with a healthy dose of passion for hosting. What began small has since grown: Today, we operate over 20 accommodations in Hessen, Nordrhein-Westfalen und Rheinland-Pfalz. And the number is constantly growing! We have a soft spot for beautiful places – and for large groups: That's why we specifically look for locations where we can offer multiple apartments in the same building. This way, families, groups of friends, or teams can travel together while still enjoying individual accommodations. And because vacation is more than just an overnight stay, we'll give you our best tips for local activities, excursions, and restaurants in advance – personally tested, of course! The apartment is located in the Marburg Wehrda district, which is still very rural and offers a mixture of historical charm and modern comfort. The house is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a quiet atmosphere. Quaint half-timbered houses ensure a cozy atmosphere, while nearby shops and the proximity to the upper town provide an ideal connection to the city (10 minutes to the Elisabeth Church, from there on foot via the botanical garden through the picturesque upper town up to the famous Landgrave Castle). The neighborhood's proximity to nature trails and parks offers outdoor enthusiasts numerous opportunities to explore and relax. Very quiet and idyllic location, but still well connected to the upper town. Bus lines 1 and 4 leave very close to the house (3 minutes on foot) and you can reach the Elisabeth Church in 10 minutes by bus. Opposite the bus there are also Nextbike bikes for rent. By car you can also be in the upper town in 10 minutes. It is 10 minutes by car, 15 minutes by bike or 30 minutes on foot through the forest to Biontech and the Behringwerke. There are beautiful hiking and mountain biking opportunities in the surrounding hills, and the Lahn is also not far away. The Wehrda shopping center is less than 5 minutes away and offers all kinds of shopping opportunities (DM, Aldi, Lidl, Tegut (Edeka) etc.)
