The naturalness of the city of Landsberg with its beautiful old town, the river Lech and the great nature immediately caught my eye as a lover of old buildings, antique furniture and craftsmanship. Diverse, cultural offerings, the weekly market with its regional products, relaxed, friendly atmosphere in the shops and wonderful nature in the middle of the city offer quality of life for people who, like me, need their space. I am incredibly happy to be a host and look forward to new encounters. The five-lake region, the river Lech, cooking, the restoration of furniture, nature and dogs are my greatest hobbies.

Award-winning, listed old town house in the heart of Landsberg's old city: the Chapeau is a lovingly furnished guest house in a former hat shop with French, antique furniture. The house from the 16th century has 4 spacious apartments and 2 double rooms. 2 apartments and 1 double room are located in the idyllic "Hexenviertel" and have balconies from the Gerber period. 2 other apartments and 1 double room are located on a beautiful historic street with a view of the Giggerl fountain. Old wooden floors and doors from the baroque period until the end of the 19th century, as well as the original wooden staircase, characterize the atmosphere of this house. The bathrooms are equipped with cement tile floors, tasteful ceramics and authentic fittings. Hand and bath towels, hair dryer, toilet paper + hand soap are included. All beds are comfortable with latex toppers and offer very good sleeping comfort. Flat TVs, free WiFi, refrigerator, kitchenette, sink and kitchen utensils as well as a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster make these apartments home oases. The breakfast is served with homemade delicacies.

Everything can be reached on foot in a few minutes: City theater, pedestrian zone, market square, charming small shops & restaurants, the city museum, historic town hall, mother tower, the river Lech with its meadows, the wildlife park, the lively river Lech promenade with restaurants, bars and the English garden with its beautiful, old trees. The Schloßberg car parking offers inexpensive and comfortable parking and is only a 2-minute walk away. Landsberg is an excellent starting point for any trips to the Allgäu and the Bavarian mountains.
