March-Buchheim offers excellent infrastructure: nearby you’ll find Sauna Haus Wellness Pur, EDEKA, Netto, and in the village center (a short walk away), post office, butcher, pharmacy, and Bäckerei Heizmann. Europa-Park Rust can be reached in about 25 minutes by car. Basel (Switzerland) is about 60 km away, Strasbourg (France) around 80 km, and Colmar (France) about 50 km. Freiburg is 10–15 minutes by car or you can take the tram from the Park & Ride Moosweiher (Freiburg Landwasser) directly to Bertholdsbrunnen (city center)—the perfect starting point for shopping or visiting the Freiburg Minster and old town. Ski resorts are accessible via Hinterzarten (30 minutes), as well as Schauinsland and Feldberg (about 45 minutes).
