The Garden Hideaway is located in a quiet area of Ishøj, where guests can enjoy a relaxing stay close to both nature and Copenhagen. One of the highlights of the area is Ishøj Beach and the beautiful Køge Bay Beach Park, with long sandy beaches, dunes, walking paths and opportunities for cycling along the coast. It is a wonderful place for a morning walk, a swim during the summer or simply enjoying the sea and fresh air. Nearby you will also find ARKEN Museum of Contemporary Art, one of Denmark’s leading museums of contemporary art. The museum is beautifully located by the coast and is well worth a visit for both its exhibitions and its distinctive architecture. Ishøj Harbour is another pleasant place to explore, with boats, coastal scenery and places to stop for a coffee, lunch or dinner overlooking the harbour. For guests who want to experience Copenhagen, the city centre is easily accessible by S-train from Ishøj Station. Copenhagen Central Station can be reached in around 16–17 minutes by train, making it easy to visit attractions such as Tivoli Gardens, Nyhavn, the canals, museums, restaurants and the historic city centre.
