I'm Patricio Valenzuela, a Hospitality and Tourism Technician, and a local host and guide in the privileged setting of Lake San Pablo. For me, welcoming travelers is much more than a job: it's a way to share our culture, our nature, and our way of life. I'm currently in the process of obtaining sustainability certification because I firmly believe that tourism should be responsible and conscious. Green House Araque Inn is a cultural retreat facing Lake San Pablo, with personalized interpretive experiences within the Imbabura UNESCO Geopark

The Araque commune is part of the San Pablo del Lago parish and one of the two geosites of the Imbabura UNESCO Global Geopark. It is located just 7 km from the center of Otavalo at an altitude of 2709 meters above sea level, and its temperature ranges from 8 to 20°C, just a few minutes from the shores of the lake.
