Hi and Welcome to us here in the Art Station in Álora! We are a couple from Sweden and Australia, we have lived here since 1998. ARTEstación has 2 Apartments for Holidaymakers, one is called the " BACKPACKER DELIGHT " and is a SMALL cosy Self contained apartment, best suited for a couple but can sleep more. It has its own Private Courtyard with an enclosed garden and is perfect for people travelling with dogs. The Other Apartment is called the " GARDEN APARTMENT " which is bigger with high ceilings and can sleep up to 4 people. It has 2 bathrooms, and access to the bigger Garden which has a small Splashpool. Both Apartments have their own Outdoor areas. We live on the property, if you should need anything. We hope you will Enjoy your stay here, in our alternative and artistic paradise.! :) Best regards Mike and Marina
We are a Couple from Sweden and Australia and we came here to this Beautiful Andalucian Village in 1998. We have lived here for 25 years and ran a very popular Music, Art club in our house called ARTEstación. Marina is an artist Painter with a passion for making her guests feel comfotable and at home. She has delighted in creatiing an environment where the guest feels instantly at home and her husband Mike who is a world traveller sailor, kite surfer and very handy man has helped transform to a warm and welcoming holiday retreat. We both Love meeting people and do everything to make our guests stay as pleasant as possible.
ARTEstación is situated in the Train Station in Álora. Therefore you can easily acces us by Train, from Málaga Airport etc. The Neighbourhood is set in a Lemon Field and next to the Gualdahorce River. There are busses up to Town and you can also walk to shops and Bars from here. Lovely View of the Old Morish Castle.
