This modern hotel is located just a few yards away from the famous Puerta del Sol, in a historical building from the 18th century. The smart decoration of the Ateneo’s interiors is created thanks to a thoughtful renovation of the 18th-century building. Admire the attractive contrast of the mahogany and pale woods against red-and-white striped sheets. Enjoy original features such as balconies overlooking Madrid’s streets and attractive wrought-iron railings. Visit the majority of Madrid´s attractions by foot thanks to the central location of the Ateneo.
