This charming home preserves its original character with traditional teak wood beams, century-old stone walls, and a classic Canarian pitched roof. Ideal for couples or small families, Casa Petra offers authenticity, tranquillity, and a deep connection with Canarian culture and nature. Living room The cosy living room sits at the heart of the home, with all other rooms leading from it. Features include comfortable sofa seating and a flat-screen Smart TV, creating a perfect space to unwind. Fully equipped kitchen The separate kitchen-diner is both functional and welcoming, equipped with everything needed to prepare meals or snacks, including: • Dining table with four chairs • Gas stove • Microwave • Fridge-freezer • Kettle and toaster • Italian moka pot and French press for coffee lovers • A complete set of cookware, utensils, and dinnerware. Cosy bedrooms with unique character Both bedrooms are located at the front of the house and thoughtfully furnished with high-quality solid-wood furnishings and vintage linen curtains. Each includes air conditioning and heating. Master bedroom: Features a double bed (140cm), ample wardrobe space, and a peaceful workspace by the window overlooking the patio. Sun-blocking blinds ensure restful mornings. Single bedroom: Includes a comfortable single bed (90cm), a spacious wardrobe, and sun-blocking blinds. Bathroom The bathroom is clean and functional, complete with a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. Front terrace: A morning sun-trap The front terrace offers a spot to watch the world go by, with its small table and chairs, perfect for enjoying your breakfast and planning the day's adventures.

Surrounded by volcanic landscapes, hills, and hiking routes, including the nearby Malpaís de Güímar nature reserve, Güímar is a traditional town on the south-east coast of Tenerife known for its authentic Canarian atmosphere and peaceful local lifestyle. It is a place where everyday life, nature, and local culture come together, away from the main tourist crowds but with all essential services close by. The town offers restaurants, traditional tapas bars, supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, and local shops, while the nearby coastline provides natural swimming spots and small beaches in El Puertito de Güímar. On Sundays, don’t miss the local market where you can find fresh local produce, including fruit, vegetables, cheese, and other Canarian products, offering a great way to experience the island’s gastronomy. The location is well connected via the TF-1 motorway, with easy access to Santa Cruz, the south of the island, and Tenerife South Airport (around 25–30 minutes away). It is an ideal base to explore both the south and north of Tenerife.
