Casa Maena (VUT/MA/99898) is a self-catering town-house. It is located in a pretty and quiet street on the East side of Cómpeta and is walking distance to all restaurants, shops, bars and cafes located around the town. Parking is on the main street, just a short walk from the property. The living accommodation is perfect for two people and has a living room/dining/kitchen area a separate bedroom and a shower room. The bedroom is fitted with sliding door wardrobes and plenty of drawers. The house benefits from a lovely juliette balcony off the bedroom. This compact but comfortable town house has a fitted kitchen along one wall of the living space plus two comfortable armchairs and a small extendable kitchen dining table and two chairs. Accessed via a spiral metal staircase is a fabulous terrace above the living accommodation which runs the entire length of the property. This pretty terrace has an outdoor food prep area, table and chairs for dining. Two comfy chairs for relaxing, as well as two sun loungers. There is a storage box for cusions and a sail and a parasol are available for shade when needed. The terrace has fantastic views of the mountains and the village.

I have lived in Cómpeta for over over two years with my husband Alan and our two dogs. I love the Spanish culture and lifestyle, and I finally feel like I'm making some progress with learning the language. Cómpeta has so much to offer and is a vibrant and very friendly town. There is lots to do both in town and in the surrounding area. My husband plays padel and swims in the municipal pool. We have both belonged to the Cómpeta Yoga community and do boxercise with a local personal trainer. We enjoy walking in the national park with our dogs and having the coast only half an hour away is a real bonus for two people who love the ocean. Calle Tajo is a quiet and pretty residential street on the East side of Cómpeta, a vibrant and beautiful 'Pueblo Blanco'. The closest restaurants to the house are Cafe Alfonso, Bar Marcos and Bar Lorena. Closest supermarket, Dia, is less than five minutes walk, but other supermarkets available are Coviran at the top of town, Eroski and Komo Komo are near the main car parking and on the other side of the main plaza is Frutas Marisol a green grocers which sells fresh vegetables and fruit, many of which are organic, along with many other packaged products a lot of which are locally sourced where possible. Two fresh meat counters, one is Komo Komo off the main carpark and the other at Eroski on Calle Rampa. Various other cafes, restaurants and bars are dotted around this very pretty town.
