Welcome to our charming apartment in the quiet part of Cómpeta, the pearl of the Axarquía region. The Mirador Panorámico on the edge of the village is just a 10-minute walk away. The apartment is easily accessible by car via a paved road, and free parking is available nearby. The highlight is the large terrace with a plunge pool (3 meters in diameter) for your private use. The terrace has a spacious dining table, and comfortable lounge chairs. Here you can fully enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea, perfect for breakfast, relaxing, or an evening drink. We are Angela and Frans. In August 2025, we left the Netherlands for our new home in Cómpeta, Spain, by car, with our cat and a large roof box. We enjoy the sun and the Spanish lifestyle. We renovated the holiday apartment on the ground floor of our house. We live above the apartment with our cat Jazz and our rescue dog Snowy.

Cómpeta is beautifully situated on the edge of the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Natural Park: rugged mountains, deep gorges, pine forests, and clear rivers. The park offers numerous hiking and cycling trails for all levels. Ideal for walking, cycling, or simply enjoying the nature and tranquility. In the village, you'll find everything you need: 3 supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy, bike rental, and especially many charming restaurants and bars in and around Plaza Almijara. The atmosphere is authentic and relaxed, with whitewashed houses and narrow streets. The coast is nearby: Torrox Costa (20-25 minutes' drive): relaxed beaches, a dog beach, a promenade, and chiringuitos. Algarrobo Costa (25-30 minutes): quieter beaches with clear water. Nerja (25-30 min): a delightful town with the "Balcony of Europe" and charming shops and terraces. For a cultural excursion: Granada with the Alhambra (1.5-2 hours): Book tickets in advance for the palaces and gardens – highly recommended! Málaga (approx. 1 hour): Picasso Museum, Alcazaba, cathedral, and bustling harbor. From our apartment, you can effortlessly combine mountain scenery, village charm, beach, and culture – the perfect base for a varied Andalusia holiday!
