In Spain, if you own a place for tourists to stay, you have to keep a record of who stays there. It’s a rule that’s not widely known. This record needs to be shared with the authorities, like the Civil Guard, to ensure public safety.

The traveler registration form must be filled in at check-in with the details of guests aged 16 and over. The registration form must be sent to the authorities within 24 hours of the arrival or departure of the guests. And also, the travel registrations must be registered by the host in a travel register book, which can be in physical or digital format, with a minimum of 100 pages and a maximum of 500 pages.

Segün el nuevo decreto 933/2021 requiere que los huespedes aporten los siguientes datos , todos los datos que aparecen en el DNI. Nº de teléfono, datos de parentesco si se hospedan con menores de edad, Nº de IBAN o número de tarjeta de credito, fecha de caducidad y CVC, según el método de pago.

Si el huesped no esta deacuerdo en proporcionar dichos datos no se podrá hospedar en el alojamiento.

A damage deposit of € 300 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full, in cash, subject to an inspection of the property.
