I love nature and life in this region, 14 years ago I moved here to take and run the family business. My parents were born in this region, east of Malaga, called "Axarquia". My brother Nacho and me have our best memories of childhood on this farmhouse, on these mountains and region. Twelve years ago the whole family decided to start a new life. Now, our olive groves are organic, we produce good quality extra virgin olive oil and we have restored the old farmhouse into a beautiful rural accommodation where others can enjoy and love this paradise as much as us. My mother María and I will be your hosts here and we would love to make a beautiful stay for you.

Our place is more than an accomodation, Cortijo Las Monjas has the charm of a house with history. Over 300 years old, but lovingly and carefully renovated to avoid losing its character. You'll feel right at home, we will give you a warm welcome and will try to make your stay with us unforgettable.

Axarquía region has a lot to see, and there is a lot to do, if you dont mind to drive around in the mountain, and if you like nature, this is your place. We are happy to help you to prepare and organize your stay and visits in the area, with the best tips from our local perspective.
